ContiOcean Partners with Ninecosmos to Foray into Computing Power for Maritime Big Data and AI-Industry Integration

On 14 October 2025, ContiOcean Environment Tech Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ContiOcean”) formally signed a strategic cooperation frame agreement with Ninecosmos Science and Technology Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ninecosmos”) in Shanghai. Chairman Zhou Yang and Executive Director & CEO Zhao Mingzhu of ContiOcean together with Chairman and general manager Zhou Zheng of Ninecosmos attended the signing ceremony.

ContiOcean, as the world's first maritime ESG system service provider listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, possesses an extensive client base in the international maritime market, strong R&D capabilities, and solid engineering service expertise. The group plans to establish its own vessel testing platform to conduct comprehensive validation of various maritime ESG equipment and systems under complex conditions. The two parties also discussed the medium to long term carbon emission reduction strategies outlined by the International Maritime Organization. They agreed to initially implement big data computing power and AI technologies in ContiOcean's vessel energy-saving and carbon reduction products. This integration will significantly enhance vessels' carbon reduction effectiveness while optimizing routes, reducing fuel consumption, and mitigating potential meteorological risks for clients. Additionally, both sides held extensive discussions on the deep integration of future products.
